Prompters rock! It's a lot more difficult that one might think. I did some prompting for our opera productions in college and it took quite a bit of practice to get the hang of it (and a lot of memorization).
Susan, listen to the wonderful Zauberflote recordings you sent me (the ones with DD). One can hear the prompter SO CLEARLY. At first I thought it was funny, but then it just got plain ANNOYING!
