And the neighbors? Apparently, although I sing only inside my house, apparently they all agree that my singing has improved a great deal over the past several months. Like, they've talked about it. Amongst themselves. And then put a drink or two in any of them and they'll tell me all about it. And here I thought I was safe in my own home with the windows shut. Hm I wonder if I should shut the shades too...

Hicuppp.... still think your voice is so much better since you started with the voice lessons, but then you have a beautiful voice before you started also!

Abominable earrings - sorry...
I suggest you look at Nicky Butler's or Sally C's designs for inspiration of color combinations, style, variety. Before you make another bunch - ask yourself: would anybody be willing to let this dangle in her ear? If the answer is yes - proceed, if the answer is no - refrain until you get new style ideas.
With the voice - same thing - the neighbors must be really suffering if dared speak.

I'm not making earrings for you or singing for the neighbors!! I do it for ME! I'm not going to stop singing because the neighbors talk about me. Who cares? Saying that I improved doesn't mean I sucked before - as I have written in other posts. They compliment me in person. They could just say nothing... Either way, I will continue to sing like no one is listening.
I don't care if anyone else would dangle the earrings from their ears. I enjoy making earrings. I did take a look at the two designers you mention - Their styles are very different from mine so you can't really compare. Sally C has multiple drop and hoop earrings made in factories in Thailand. Nicky Butler uses real gemstones and sterling ($$$) and I must say I'm not a fan of the styling. I don't like the big wide earrings with all those gemstones mixed together like that - it's just not my style. I tend to go for delicate and dainty. I use mostly vintage glass beads and findings, lots of rhinestones, embedded flower beads, cloisonne beads and the like. You can see many more here:
