Still need to write about the recital and the subsequent lessons. But meanwhile, I want to share a video my friends and I made to help a friend who is starting chemotherapy for cancer. Please please please click thru to YouTube and leave her a message. And share this video with anyone you think it will help find strength!

Always Catching Up
Seems like I just can't keep on top of the blogging. Not that anything particularly adventurous has occurred since the last time I posted. We did make another video though, based on Alex's idea to hunt for air in outer space.
Voice lesson tomorrow. Last week I realized that duh, I can record my lessons directly onto my iPhone, and then listen whenever. I even have an adapter for my old car that plays only cassettes! So buh-bye cassettes of lessons and hello digital technology!

This Post is NOT About My Voice Lesson
I will post about that later. But first, here's one of the fun things Alex and I do. Little does he know he's getting vestibular input and strengthening his core, both great therapies for SPD. He's just having fun... And so am I.
I mentioned in an earlier post that he has low muscle tone. You can see one example at about 3:30 into the video. Look at his arms and hands as he flops down. The floppy arms are a sign of poor muscle tone.
Oh and you can also see the cat going in and out of the closet that contains the litter box. Just in case you were wondering.
Thank you for reading this non-opera post. I will write all about today's voice lesson next time.

We've Been at it Again - More Beethoven's Wig
I never considered making a video of this until Alex suggested using paper plates on the rug. We moved the table and chairs out of the dining room to make our rug and paper-plate rink, and here's the result!

Beethoven's Wig - Beep Beep Beep
I filmed some of the footage a few months ago, and rounded out what I needed today with some toys. See if you can tell which cars are real and which are toy.
